Kshitij Malhotra holds a degree in Chemical engineering and is a registered Indian patent agent. He is also a lawyer from University of Delhi, and enrolled at Bar Council of Delhi and authorized to practice law in courts of India. He has prior experiences of working in the Indian, Japanese, and US patent systems. He has helped many Indian and foreign clients in obtaining patents at major patent offices. He was received as a trainee in JPO program for patent experts held in Tokyo in 2013.

Ram Naresh received his LL.B. degree from University of Delhi, master’s degree in chemistry with major in organic chemistry from D.A.V.V. Indore and he is a registered Indian patent agent. He is also a legal IP facilitator appointed by government of India. He has several years of experience in IP prosecution and IP management. He focuses his practice on Indian IPR laws especially patent, trademark and design prosecution. Beside IPR prosecution he is proficient in technical and legal drafting, patent searching and analytics, developing competitive technology intelligence, strategizing IP portfolio management, technology valuation and licensing.
He has prior experience of working in the Indian, Japanese, American and European patent systems. He has assisted many Indian and foreign clients in obtaining and securing their patent rights in these jurisdiction. He likes to closely work with the innovators from the conceptualization of idea till the stage of IP commercialization.
Indian Patent Agent
Garima Rai holds an engineering degree in Information Technology and is a Registered Indian Patent Agent. She focuses her practice on patent filing, prosecution and drafting Indian as well as International patent applications. She has varied experience in Indian Patent System as well as in other jurisdictions such as US, EP, PCT etc. She is essentially responsible for carrying out filing & prosecution work across jurisdictions at GIP India. She also handles the Trade Mark filing and prosecution at the Indian TMR as well as Madrid Applications at WIPO. Design filing with prosecution work is also handled by her at GIP India. She is also a legal IP facilitator appointed by government of India.
She was received as a Trainee in JPO program for Patent Experts held at Tokyo in 2015.
Tatsuzo Higashikawa plays his role as a Corporate Advisor for GLOBAL IP India. His activities have been making important contribution on the stronger mutual relationship among the member offices of United GIPs, and GLOBAL IP India is one of the member offices of United GIPs.
Tatsuzo Higashikawa holds a BS in Agricultural Science from Kinki University and an MBA from the University of Wales, and has also received 1-year academic training at the University of Kiel (CAU), Germany. Mr. Higashikawa had worked for two Kyoto-based companies specializing in Japanese traditional handicrafts, before joining Shinjyu Global IP in 1991 as the General Manager. Mr. Higashikawa has been involved in the establishment of all member firms of United GIPs, and he is currently in charge of management matters within United GIPs, in the cities of Tokyo, Osaka, Washington, DC, Beijing, Seoul, Munich, Singapore and New Delhi. He speaks English, Japanese and German.
